Compare
How to compare by category
Beyond five rational questions, compare by category—what dimensions and intermediary questions matter. Six insurers show public category presence only; archive links, no rankings. No product-term or yield tables.
This site does not compare named in-force products, premiums or yield illustrations.

Category frameworks
Medical / VHIS
Compare definitions, deductibles, room class, geography, renewal and VHIS certification meaning—not lowest premium.
Critical illness
Compare definitions, early/multiple benefits, waiting periods and cash purpose—not disease-count slogans.
Life insurance
Compare sum assured, term, beneficiaries, term/whole-life structure and liability fit—not brand slogans.
Accident & disability
Compare accident definitions, disability payout form, occupation exclusions and group-cover split—not slogan sums.
Savings / annuity / ILAS
Mandatory risk frame: liquidity, fees, guaranteed vs non-guaranteed, poor scenarios—no yield figures here.
Cross-border checklist
Currency, jurisdiction, disclosure, cooling-off, takeaway docs—pre-meeting dimensions for cross-border readers.
Five foundational questions
Q1
Which risk does this policy address?
State the purpose in one sentence. Then compare sum assured, waiting periods, exclusions and claims terms.
Q2
How long is it affordable?
Match sustainable cash flow; ask premium term, possible loadings and lapse consequences.
Q3
Are downside cases in the documents?
Read exclusions, surrender values, fees and definitions. Benefit-only briefings are not enough.
Q4
Who are they—and whom do they represent?
Confirm licence, insurer/broker firm, and complaint/follow-up paths.
Q5
Is there room to cool off?
Know cooling-off and cancel rights. Decisions that survive overnight thought and a second view are usually steadier.
